The Good

1. The VIP Lounge
   
   Good name. MVP is a great heel. Smackdown needed a replacement for The Cutting Edge. Maybe the best part of this though, is that they kept it short. RAW is guilty of not doing this with Carlito's Cabana. Sometimes the Cabana is up to 12 minutes long. That's a huge chunk of the show. I wasn't timing this, but it couldn't have been more then 7 minutes including the Masterlock challenge.
2. The Majors vs. The Greasers
   
   The Majors are talented. They are good in the ring, and they really clicked with The Greasers. I hope they make something out of this.
3. Chuck Palumbo/The Undertaker Promos
   
   Chuck Palumbo looks fun. They should try to mention how big he is though. I believe he weighs in at 285 pounds, but he doesn't look that big in the promos.
   
   The Undertaker promos are always fun. Not much else to say.
4. Finlay vs. Noble w/Kane interference
   
   Finlay is really doing a good job in the ring. Finlay vs. Kane should be exciting. However, Hornswoggle vs. Jamie Noble is not exciting.
5. Michelle vs. Victoria
   
   Good for a Smackdown womens match.
6. Khali vs. Kane
   
   Ahh... Super-Heavyweights. Although this wasn't a very good match a Wrestlemania, it was here. This was probably the best match The Great Khali has done in a while. Usually he just brings everyone around him down.
   

The Bad

1. Chavo vs. Shannon Moore
   
   Lately it just seems like theres no more life in the cruiserweights. Chavo is still good, and fun to watch, but he's really not as high flying as he once was.
2. No Mysterio
   
   I don't like how the WWE is handling the return of Rey Mysterio, or Triple H for that matter. Their logic, and I've read this on a WWE rumors site, is that they figure that more people are going to buy SummerSlam if neither of them have been seen beforehand. I disagree. I think that they should make them return, but not in the form of a match. Have their first match be at SummerSlam. Also, not making them appear makes the matches at SummerSlam make no sense.

Thoughts

1. Why do they pretend like Smackdown and Saturday Night's Main event are done live?
2. Are Jesse and Festus ever going to wrestle?
3. Jesse and Festus better be good in the ring, or they are just wasting out time.
4. The Michael Cole has less talent then oats joke only works once.
5. Did JBL seriously say you can't compare apples to oranges? Of course you can compare apples to oranges.
6. Does McMahon seriously want Khali to be his kid?
7. Big Dick Johnson was there. Just have to point it out.
8. Why was Coach dancing with Big Dick Johnson?

Don't forget September is Ladder Match Month here. That means every day I will (try) to post a video of a ladder match. I believe I can do it. All depending on the number of headaches I have.

A Look at Foreign Objects: Hornswoggle

That's right! Hornswoggle is a foreign object!

He is billed at 3' 11" and 119 pounds.

He is the current Cruiserweight Champion of the world. He won this title by winning a Cruiserweight open, a match he spent the majority of the time under the ring for.

He is the youngest Cruiserweight champion ever, 21 years and 51 days. He is also the smallest person ever to win a WWE championship, and also the first "little person".

Hornswoggle however, is probably best known as the leprechan who is always coming out from under the ring, and pouncing on Finlay's opponents. He is also known as the "Little Bastard".

Best Match: Finlay vs. Matt Hardy (even with the ending.)
Worst Match: Mark Henry vs. Jobber
Best Non-Wrestling Moment: Undertaker Returns Promo
Worst Non-Wrestling Moment: Chris Masters looking for an opponent.
Rating (out of 8): 7.3

The Good

1. Batista vs. Domino
   
   Very good match. Batista got his revenge. Not much to say about it, but that's a cool picture up above!
2. Matt Hardy vs. Finlay
   
   Really good match. Matt Hardy got some really good elbows in. Finlay tried to use Hornswoggle as a weapon, but then Jamie Noble came down and chased Hornswoggle away. I even kind of like the ending how Finlay went chasing after Jamie Noble to make sure he didn't hurt Hornswoggle.
3. Kane attacking Finlay and Finlay attacking Kane
   
   This was a lot of fun to watch, both times. It's setting up nicely for a Kane vs. Finlay angle. An angle in which I think has a lot of potential. I love watching Finlay wrestle. I feel his in ring abilities are a lot better then he gets credit for. Kane vs. Finlay should be fun. I hope they continue this, unlike Finlay vs. Flair.
4. The Undertake Returns Promo
   
   Awesome!!!! Just flat out awesome! From what I can tell it's not on YouTube yet, but as soon as it is, it will be here. It was really cool.
5. Torrie vs. Victoria
   
   Not much to say about this. Victoria ended up winning then continuing her attack on Torrie Wilson until Michelle McCool came to the rescue... Barefoot... That's right... Barefoot.
6. Ric Flair vs. The Great Khali
   
   For a match to prove how dominate The Great Khali is, it was a pretty good match. Khali using his new weapon, which I like, as a pinning technique I thought was great. They need to make some counter to Khali's head grip though. Otherwise it makes no sense. He has the wingspan so he could apply it at anytime, so what's stopping him?

The Bad

1. Mark Henry Squash
   
   This proves nothing except that Mark Henry is good on the microphone.
2. Masterlock Challenge
   
   Waste of time much? Then again, it always is.

So there you have it. More good then bad. In all seriousness, Smackdown was great! Also, this Smackdown show got really bad ratings.

Finlay, Everybody's Favorite Heel

Finlay, everybody's favorite heel. Or not. Who am I to decide that. Personally he's one of my favorite heels, behind Edge.

Last Friday he has a squash match against Jimmy Wang Yang, a horrible gimmick. I thought it was a great match. It showed everyone that Jimmy Wang Yang can compete with some heavyweights, but it also let Finlay build up steam for whatever is coming his way next. Possibly Ric Flair?

I think that would be a fun rivalry, Flair vs. Finlay that is. I think they'd have to let Finlay win that. Even if Flair is the best ever... he's 58 years old.

That is what I hope to see though. Flair vs. Finlay rivalry, with a lot of good matches.
